Hi Trinora and Roger

Sorry for the delay in responding to you. For some reason we weren’t notified of your comment and Brad came across it recently when he was doing some maintenance on this site.
We are currently reading and laughing (in comraderie) at your e-Norm-ass adventures.
You can contact us at bjemond@gmail.com if you want to reminisce about the trip and compare Norm swear words. Looking forward to hearing from you. We hope its not too late to connect with you.

My husband Roger and I made this trip with the notorious Norm Yelland in 2014. Oh, how I wish I had found your superb blog before we contracted with that lying thief! We and a 2nd unit (single lady about 60) made it as far as a day out of Cartagena, Colombia. Norm tried to squeeze more money out of us and so we fired him instead and continued on our own to Santiago, Chile. By then, we were too tired to continue driving across the pampas of Argentina, so we shipped the RV back to Galveston TX and flew on to Ushuaia, then stopped at Iguazu Falls on the way back to Texas. Our experience with Norm pretty much mirrored yours. You can read it at southoftheborderbucketlist.blogspot.com
Fellow travelers, Roger and Trinora Sassman

Comment on Day 163 – Melodie’s House by Krista http://muleskinner.ca/2014/01/09/day-163-melodies-house/#comment-1225 Thu, 23 Jan 2014 01:08:41 +0000 http://muleskinner.ca/?p=3135#comment-1225 Well thank you everyone. I’m so glad that the love that was poured into those songs is pouring out across the country. For those that don’t know, I was on my way to the recording studio to do those four songs when I got the call from sister Suze saying that mom was gone. It took a bit to collect myself but I could hear mom saying, ‘the show must go on Sista.’ And my friends at the studio knew exactly what to do, let me sing and then let me fall apart. The songs are rather tear stained but heartfelt just the same and I’m so glad that those that are listening to them are enjoying them wholeheartedly. Keep singing Melodie, it’s a beautiful way to share your soul. XO Krista

Montgomery entered the third of four runs in second place but laid down two blazing times to take the win by seven one-hundredths of a second over Latvia’s Martins Dukurs (I had to correct their spelling errors fort] this post). Umm – I don’t know what “skeleton” is…..and I love your churches Jude. I’m hoping to see some “cement factories” in your next posts……..
